For anbragte børn og unge spiller deres sagsbehandler en stor rolle for beslutninger om deres liv. Mange børn og unge oplever imidlertid, at kontakten ofte er begrænset til de lovpligtige halvårlige tilsyn og børnesamtaler, og udtrykker ønske om at have en tættere kontakt til deres sagsbehandler.

I et 5-årigt forskningsprojekt har syv kommuner eksperimenteret med at styrke dialogen med anbragte børn og unge via digital kommunikation. Forskningsprojektet Teledialog er finansieret af VELUX FONDEN og er gennemført i et samarbejde mellem Aarhus Universitet, VIVE og Herning, Horsens, København, Norddjurs, Randers, Silkeborg og Aarhus Kommuner.

Erfaringerne fra forskningsprojektet er samlet i kort form i dette inspirationshæfte. Inspirationshæftet henvender sig sagsbehandlere og socialforvaltninger, der ønsker
at styrke dialogen med de anbragte børn og unge.

Digitization and the distance between case managers and placed children in Teledialogue

Public digitization raises concerns that the distance between social workers and citizens will increase. Concerns which are particular prominent when digital technologies are introduced directly into the communication between social workers and citizens. On this background, this article investigates two questions: What exactly constitutes being 'close' or being 'distant' in the specific practices and situations of case managers interacting with placed children.

Denmark is known for having a strong democracy. We have high election turnouts, political transparency, widespread and profound trust in the public system, and a lively political debate facilitated by strong and nuanced medias.

However, we argue that there is a growing breeding ground for Trumpism in Denmark and would like to point out two reasons why.

I am a researcher of children, (digital) technology and social change. I am currently a senior associate professor (docent) at University College Copenhagen where I head the research program Digitization in School.
